Cigarettes in Santiago, Chile have this awesome picture and remind the smoker in Spanish that they will cause sexual impotence and physical decline. Cigarettes in Europe, I've been told say "Cigarettes WILL KILL YOU" and in the US they politely remind you that they cause cancer, but I wonder what is the most efficient, since I'm pretty sure that now days most people are aware that cigarettes are a slow death.
Anyways, I arrived in Santiago on Wednesday and since I've been very busy. I'm currently living in a hostel in a room with 8 girls. I can live here until March 30th for free, but I doubt it will take that long to find a place. Up until today, we've been having 2 hour lunches and 3 hour dinners with the whole CIEE bunch that includes 17 girls and 3 boys. The meals include pisco sours, a strong lime drink with sugar liquor and sometimes egg white that is similar to a margarita, delicious wine, coffee, salad, main courses, and dessert. Today we ate Peruvian food and last night we ate at a New Mexican vegetarian food restaurant. I've only taken one picture but hopefully that will change.
